RG165-155 Drawbench Features

  • Surface hardness of casting and wire rollers is not less than HRC55, service life ≥3 years
  • Capstan unit is equipped with suction pipe in the flow direction, the suction side is connected with die stand of each unit, both sides of the drawbench are equipped with matching device and a sealed with flange.
  • Central air cooling of the capstan: internal components are made of stainless steel, water inlet pipe is made of stainless steel.
  • Transmission. V-belt (German OPT brand) is used in transmission system, main bearings - products of SKF company, pneumatic components - SMC or FESTO companies products
  • Die stand is operated with cooling water overflow (single die stand), a box of soap powder equipped with dust cover. The rear part is equipped with milling spindle of regular form. While using both the upper and the lower water connections a hose coupler is used. The unit is fully equipped with automatic mixers (mixing control - continuous operation). Die stand can be adjusted left and right, up and down as two-dimensional configuration. Wire easily passes through this die stand, it is easy for commissioning and maintenance, die stand screw thread misses water, steel wire between die stand and capstan should not be subjected to vibration. Cooling water input is in the lower position, water output is carried out by overflowing from the top; it provides uniform output of cooling water in the whole machine.
  • Tension lever. Pneumatics is used in tension lever to adjust the tension, air cylinder is under the working table; each unit is equipped with an air pressure adjustment.
  • Protective mechanism is completely sealed and is equipped with emergency stop switch, emergency stop switch position is adjustable. Protective mechanism is completed with a viewing window and an operating port on the die stand.
  • One wire straightening unit 0.78-0.96 is added between main machine and winding device. The roller construction is used in vibration dampering bar.
  • In the winding device a spiral winding of a horizontal-axis type is provided, winding device speed matches the main machine speed.
  • While wire laying the wire racker with toothed belt is used.


Electrical units of drawing bench and control system

  • The entire machine is equipped with an emergency stop.
  • Each unit can work independently and can also work together with the whole machine.
  • Each capstan can move in front and rear direction when the switch is in the "autonomous work" mode. It can automatically stop when the switch is in the "start-up of the entire machine" mode.
  • One capstan can be front traction operated, and the other - rear traction operated (no need to press pedal).
  • The entire machine operational speed is set using acceleration push-button, speed reduction - on the main control panel, speed runtime is set with the internal control.
  • Automatic machine stop when wire breakage. You can reset (switch off) this feature when steel wire drawing of the entire machine is finished, empty capstan stops automatically within 5 seconds.
  • Depending on the position of the pull rope switch, each capstan activates emergency stop, the main control unit is equipped with an emergency stop push button, while emergency stop air brake system is used.
  • Open the safety fencing to work in inching mode; when you open the safety fencing the whole machine automatically goes to work at a low speed.
  • Braking time: regular stop: ≤30s, quick stop: ≤15s, emergency stop: ≤5s.
  • AC inverter speed control is used to accomplish speed regulation at constant power, at constant torsional moment.
  • Machine can be operated in stand-alone mode, inching mode, traction mode, given unit operation in continuous percentage and previously exposed percentage.
  • The latter process of the tension lever is capable of manual tightening and relaxation.
  • Touch panel is used for auxiliary monitoring, adjustment and management of parameters, the main control is carried out from PLC. On the touch panel automatically displays information about the accident (automatic display of the length and speed of wire drawing, accidental automatic stop), the speed between different units can be configured and automatically adjusted during the process of drawing, except for operations of speed acceleration or reducing, the machine is stopped, there is no need to make some adjustment and other operations. The display will show the current sensor, the current value of the engine, etc.
  • The unit is equipped with backlights, may perform the control, must provide safety during operation.
  • Inside the cabinet with electric control devices all dangerous points of open electric cables is protected, an indicator lamp and a plug socket is installed for overhaul. Front and rear parts of the unit are equipped with a plug socket for butt-welding machines (industrial socket, 16A, 4P).
  • Warning light, which located at the top of the first unit (500 mm higher than the safety fencing) indicates the operation mode of the machine unit, a red light that glows for a long time - it is a normal machine stop, the blue light that glows for a long time - it is a signal about the accident, the green light that glows for a long time - normal operation, flashing yellow light - automatic stop when the winding device is filled with wire (or reached full size).
  • Electrical control method: speed adjustment of the frequency converter, PLC digital control, human-machine interface, configuration, displaying different process parameters.
  • The control system of the whole machine uses SIMENS PLC as the control center.
  • Main operating system uses SIMENS touch screen as an operational interface.
  • The inverter uses ABB 550.
  • For low-voltage electrical components (power switch, contactors, circuit breakers, relays, handles, push buttons, ring switches, etc.) Schneider or CHINT brand are used.
  • Wire clamps - select products of Phoenix company.
  • On the top of the control unit a signal lamp must be installed.
  • Sensor - use TURCK or Schneider companies products.
