Mirror-finished steel conveyor belt FCN-900
The FCN-900 mirror-finished steel conveyor belt is manufactured by applying a high-precision polishing process to a standard 2B stainless steel belt.
In order to achieve a perfectly polished surface, the impurity content in the steel must be kept to an absolute minimum, as non-metallic inclusions become visible during polishing and negatively affect surface quality. To address this issue, the FCN-900 conveyor belt is produced using electroslag remelting (ESR) technology, which allows strict control of impurity levels. In contrast, standard steel belts are typically produced using argon-oxygen decarburization (AOD) and contain a higher level of impurities.
The FCN-900 mirror-finished steel conveyor belt can be produced according to different polishing grades ranging from JM-0 to JM-4, allowing the belt to be adapted to a wide range of industrial requirements.
